Bri Springs Reveals the One Thing She Wishes She & Bachelor Matt James Had Discussed on the Show
Bri Springs stopped by “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” to discuss her experience competing for Matt James’ heart on “The Bachelor” Season 25.
During her interview with co-hosts Joe Amabile and Natasha Parker, the standout contestant revealed the one thing she wishes she would have discussed with Matt while filming the show at Pennsylvania’s Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in the fall of 2020.
“Matt is a very religious person and Matt and I never talked about religion,” Bri said of the handsome lead, who began his “Bachelor” journey with a prayer instead of the typical champagne toast. “Again, you have such a limited amount of time and interaction with the person that you’re dating, and I wish I would have talked to him about that.”
While Bri considers herself to be a “spiritual person,” she admitted that their differing beliefs “could’ve easily been a dealbreaker.”
“And that’s not something that we talked about because we each have our own priorities, especially when it comes to a relationship,” she continued. “And that wasn’t my first priority to talk about. But I also learned that was his.”
As Bachelor Nation will recall, Bri was sent home after Fantasy Suite dates just before Matt chose his final two women: Rachael Kirkconnell and Michelle Young. Matt ultimately handed his final rose to Rachael but revealed during the “After the Final Rose” special that they broke up due to her past racially insensitive social media activity, which she has apologized for.
Meanwhile, Michelle was named the star of “The Bachelorette” Season 18, which is set to air in the fall after Katie Thurston makes her Bachelorette debut this summer.
Elsewhere in her “Click Bait” chat, Bri shared her enthusiasm at seeing her good friend Michelle lead the franchise.
“I am so excited for Michelle because I think she’s gonna crush this,” Bri gushed of the stunning schoolteacher. “And if they call me back in to go help Michelle, I would be there in a heartbeat because I want the best for her.”
