Clare Crawley Opens Up About Feeling 'Good' at 40, Calls Aging a 'Blessing'
Nearly one month after celebrating her landmark 40th birthday, Clare Crawley is feeling just as, if not more, fabulous.
The Bachelor Nation star shared her thoughts on growing older during an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday night while responding to the following fan query: “How does it truly feel to be 40?”
“Aging is something that is a blessing and it’s beautiful,” she said. “It matters how you feel on the inside and I feel good!”
As some fans are aware, Clare became the oldest woman to lead “The Bachelorette” when Season 16 premiered in the fall of 2020. The blonde beauty — who was 39 at the time of filming — thought her age was an advantage in her search for love, as she explained during a March 2020 interview on “Good Morning America.”
“A lot of people put it out there as this negative thing, but for me, it just is more years under my belt, more learning and knowing what I want, what I don’t want, and what I won’t settle for,” she said.
“I feel so much younger at heart than my actual age,” Clare added. “I’m proud of my age, but I just feel younger, and I feel like that to me is what’s important.”

When Clare officially rang in the big 4-0 on March 20, she felt nothing but gratitude.
“My heart is so full,” she wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of herself posing on a set of colorful tiled steps while flashing a wide smile. “Thank you to everyone who reached out and filled my birthday with love!”
