Trista Sutter Takes Bachelor Nation Inside Her Long-Awaited Family Vacation
Finally! Trista Sutter took to Instagram on Thursday to share sweet moments from a long-awaited vacation to Sedona, Arizona, with husband Ryan Sutter and their kids, son Maxwell, 13, and daughter Blakesley, 12.
According to the Season 1 Bachelorette, she and her Colorado-based brood were in dire need of a getaway after a trying year marked by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Ryan’s busy work schedule, and his recovery from a mystery illness.
“When your husband says he can finally take vacation after a year in the fire academy and as a probationary officer and the kids just so happen to be on spring break, you book 2 hotels, ask your in laws to watch your dogs, do a marathon day of laundry, pack up, head to the desert the next day and spend 4 days taking in as much relaxation and family time as possible,” the mom of two captioned her post.
As seen in Trista’s photos, her family’s itinerary included indulging in delicious food, going on hikes, exploring the desert, and cooling down in a waterpark.
“Cannot wait to get back to Sedona!!” she added.
For his part, Ryan treated fans to several snapshots of himself and Maxwell soaking up Sedona’s sunshine during a father-son bike ride. “Got a few days off, headed to Sedona to ride bikes and soak up some sun, nature, scenery and hippie magic vortex energy healing!” the handsome fireman wrote.
In the comments section of Trista’s post, Season 9 Bachelorette Desiree Siegfried chimed in to express joy at getting a peek inside the Sutters’ relaxing escape. “Yay!” she enthused. “Was just there. Love it!!”
