Ben Zorn Opens Up About the Challenges of Planning a Wedding in 2021: 'Excited and Exhausted'
After having to postpone his 2020 wedding with fiancée Stacy Sentilena due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, Ben Zorn is still facing challenges as he plans their big day one year later.
“Excited and Exhausted, 2 words I’d use to describe our wedding planning,” the handsome Bachelor Nation alum wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, noting that the ongoing COVID-19 crisis is still to blame.
“Wedding planning has been a challenge throughout this pandemic but if I’ve learned anything it’s that you have to be flexible,” he continued. “Regulations can change in an instant, venues and vendors can change due to Covid and a lot is out of your control.”
Ben went on to say that he and Stacy — who are based in San Jose, California, and share 2-month-old son Logan — have “had a hell of a time trying to figure this all out.”
The franchise star then recounted a particularly tough instant from the pair’s reignited planning process.
“I had a moment yesterday with Stacy where I just got frustrated,” he wrote. “I told her, I don’t care where it is, when it is, or who is there I just want to get married to you already! We’re not pushing back, we’re not cancelling, I’m tired of stuff getting in the way! I can’t wait to marry you babe!”
Ben concluded his post with encouraging words for other couples who have experienced similar struggles.
“To all the other couples out there, know you’re not alone and this stuff ain’t easy with everything going on! Just remember at the end of it all it’s about the person you want to be with forever, after all the glitz and glamour it’ll just be you (and Logan in our case) so stay flexible and stay excited because damnit, life is too short to sweat the small stuff!” he wrote.
The dad of one added, “Cheers to everyone getting married in 2021, Let’s do this!”
In an exclusive interview with BachelorNation.com earlier this month, Ben said that despite the troubles of having to reconfigure his nuptials, he is grateful that Logan will now be able to attend.
“After our wedding got postponed last year, we have rescheduled to this July. I am very much looking forward to finally marrying Stacy!” he enthused. “It’s kind of cool now actually that we get to share our moment with little Logan as well.”
