'Click Bait': Kristina Schulman Details Her Negative Experiences with Reality Steve
On this week’s episode of “Click Bait,” Bachelor Nation star Kristina Schulman opened up to co-hosts Tayshia Adams, Joe Amabile, and Natasha Parker about her negative experiences with reality TV blogger Steve Carbone, better known as Reality Steve.
Reality Steve — who is notorious for publishing Bachelor franchise spoilers and salacious gossip about talent — began reaching out to Kristina, she said, shortly after her run on “The Bachelor” Season 21 ended in 2017.
“He would say things and sometimes you’d believe it because he had concrete proof or you’d just take his word for it,” Kristina explained, adding that she would ask him not to publish certain pieces of information about her personal life, including unfounded rumors.
“I was like, ‘Please don’t. There are people in my life that this is going to affect, and I haven’t had a chance to tell them,’” she elaborated. “He still posted it.”
Kristina later appeared on Seasons 4 and 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2017 and 2019, respectively. As her journey within the franchise continued, she said, so did the messages from Reality Steve. According to Kristina, Reality Steve sent her a series of particularly inappropriate messages — which included sensitive claims about an unidentified person — before she hit the beaches of “Paradise” for Season 4.
“He sent me more messages, proofs of emails that were about a person [where] it doesn’t matter about how much somebody wants to know information — this is something you just don’t send out to anyone,” she said. “I did not want to find out whatever was written in that message, if it was true, because it was horrific.”
Kristina is one of several women within Bachelor Nation who have recently spoken out against Reality Steve. Demi Burnett, Jenna Cooper, Bekah Martinez, and Jade Roper have also detailed wanton encounters with the blogger.
