Jillian Harris Shares What She Loves Most About Fiancé Justin Pasutto — and How He Drives Her 'Crazy'
Partner appreciation post! Jillian Harris headed over to Instagram on Wednesday to share what she loves most — and what drives her “crazy” — about fiancé Justin Pasutto.
“Quick! Tell me ONE thing you love most about your partner and ONE thing that drives you crazy!!!” the Season 5 Bachelorette wrote alongside a photo of herself and Justin enjoying a romantic picnic together.
Jillian then shared her own answers. “I LOVE how @justinpasutto prioritizes family,” she gushed of the former pro snowboarder, with whom she shares son Leo, 4, and daughter Annie, 2. “Me, our kids, his parents, my parents, his brother... my cousins. I love that he loves and cares for them all as much as me.”
However, there is a habit of Justin’s that makes Jillian’s blood boil. “One thing that drives me crazy??” the franchise star continued. “Putting dirty dishes / recycling in the sink instead of in the dishwasher/ recycling!!!”
Jillian and Justin have been engaged since December 2016. During a September 2020 interview with Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin on “Bachelor Happy Hour,” the beloved TV personality opened up about their “really unconventional” relationship.
“When I met Justin, I found out he was 23, and I was 32. I was like, ‘What are we gonna do? I want to have babies and you’re not ready to have babies at 23. This is a disaster.’ We dated for a good four years,” Jillian recounted. “I was turning 36 and we talked about engagement a lot. We had a really rough relationship because of our age difference.”
Eventually, the pair — who postponed their summer 2020 wedding amid the COVID-19 pandemic — realized they were meant for each other.
“We really struggled in our relationship,” Jillian elaborated. “And I think that’s why we [didn’t get] engaged [for a while], because we were both like, ‘I don’t know if we’re going to get through this.’ One day I said to him, ‘Honestly, I know you haven’t proposed yet, but do you think I’m going to be the one you’re going to have babies with?’ He was like, ‘Yes.’”
