'Bachelor Happy Hour': An Emotional Farewell to Rachel Lindsay
Rachel Lindsay said goodbye to her role as co-host of “Bachelor Happy Hour” during this week’s landmark 100th episode.
In an emotional address to co-host Becca Kufrin and their listeners, Rachel expressed her best wishes for the future of the Bachelor Nation podcast.
“‘Bachelor Happy Hour’ listeners, thank you so much for riding with not just me and Becca but this platform and what we’ve built,” said the Season 13 Bachelorette. “There’s going to be so many great things to come.”
She continued, “It’s sad for me to leave, but I feel comfortable leaving knowing that [Becca is] going to be the one taking this on and leading ‘Bachelor Happy Hour’ to all its greatness.”
A tearful Becca then shared how the podcast helped her forge an incredibly tight bond with Rachel. As early listeners will recall, Rachel originated “Bachelor Happy Hour” alongside Ali Fedotowsky in the summer of 2019 before Becca signed on as her permanent co-host.
“This isn’t the end of us. I’m so grateful for your friendship and you’re stuck with me for life,” the Season 14 Bachelorette told Rachel. “So many good memories to come, but I can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you… I can’t wait to see where things unknown take you because I know they’re going to be huge and beautiful and impactful and vibrant.”
Becca added, “I know, in my heart of hearts, there’s going to be so many good things coming your way and I can’t wait to watch that all unfold for you.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Becca counted down Rachel’s top 10 “Bachelor Happy Hour” moments. Along the way, Rachel was treated to an array of sweet messages from notable “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” alums.
