Becca Tilley Gives Bachelor Nation a First Look Inside Her Gorgeous New House
Days after announcing that she purchased her first house, Becca Tilley gave Bachelor Nation a first look inside her gorgeous new Southern California home on Thursday.
The “Bachelor” alum took to her Instagram Story to share photos of her chic bedroom, which features a lush canopy bed, gilded mirror, marble fireplace, acrylic stools covered in white faux fur, and expansive windows that drench the space in sunlight.
“Welcome to cozy town,” she wrote, adding that she is still on the hunt for a few more items. “I need to find the perfect rug. That will be my next journey. And a big TV to mount on the fireplace.”
Elsewhere in her Story, Becca shared footage of a nook that she is currently using as a workstation with a desk.
“OK, I’m about to have a consultation for my blinds and shades and all that,” she said, calling attention to the window above her desk. “I love this window and I feel like it’s so charming. I want to do shutters that open up. Or do you think I should just do blinds or shades?”
As she contemplates whether to go with blinds or shades, Becca is working on her “first backyard project” — spray-painting her weathered white outdoor furniture black.
“Alright, my project is that I’m going to paint these black and they have a white cushion,” she said. “So, it’s just going to be a little elevated because they’re, like, rusting and kind of gross — so stand by.”
Later, Becca admired her work, enthusing, “OK, so I did one coat. I have to go back and get more spray paint tomorrow, but they look so good! And they’re going to look so freaking awesome with the white cushions. I’m so excited! Wow!”
In a May 10 Instagram Story, Becca described the mixed emotions she felt transitioning into her new digs.
“I’m also really emotional that this is my last night here. It all has happened so fast and now I’m just sitting here, like, this is my final night in my apartment,” she said. “I’m so excited for my house. But I loved this place and it wasn’t somewhere where I was like, ‘Ugh, I can’t wait to get out of here.’ So much has happened here and so much growth and amazing times with my friends and, yeah, I’m feeling so many emotions. I’m overwhelmed!”
