This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Hannah Brown's Men Compete in Mr. Right Pageant Hosted by Miss J & 'Drag Race' Superstars
Strutting their stuff! This week marks two years since Hannah Brown’s suitors competed in the Mr. Right Pageant hosted by former “America’s Next Top Model” judge Miss J and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” superstars Alaska and Alyssa Edwards.
“I thought today would be really fun if I brought y’all into a little part of my world,” the Season 15 Bachelorette — who reigned as Miss Alabama 2018 — told her guys during the fun group date. “So, to do that, I brought in the best of the best for help.”
The men were asked to stomp down the runway in Speedos and prepare a talent. “I was like, ‘All right, I’ll do a little pageant walk. It’s not going to be that bad.’ And then she introduces Miss J and the drag queens,” a nervous Dylan Barbour said in a confessional. “Dude, what did we get ourselves into?”
While Alyssa gave Luke Parker a pep talk, Alaska helped Mike Johnson slip into a pair of size-15 pumps for his performance. “OK, Cinderella!” the drag queen exclaimed, applauding Mike for stepping outside his comfort zone.
“The drag queens being fearless and embodying who they are as a person is just resonating with me,” Mike said at the time. “I’m winning this competition today. I need to let Hannah know that I’m Mr. Right.”
Hannah acknowledged that although her men seemed “really excited” to compete, they were also likely “terrified” to bare their bodies on stage. “I really appreciate that they’re all going for it,” she said. “I am ready to see these guys strut their stuff.”
See who got Hannah’s heart racing by reliving the epic Mr. Right Pageant below.
