Kaitlyn Bristowe Reflects on Her 'Perfect' Post-Engagement Getaway with Jason Tartick
After announcing their engagement on May 11, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick jetted off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate their relationship milestone with family.
Kaitlyn headed over to Instagram on Tuesday to reflect on the beloved Bachelor Nation couple’s “perfect” getaway.
“Boat rides, golf games, sunsets, fireworks, dance offs, live jazz, cooking in, going out, pool days, beach days, pickle ball, and card games,” the Season 11 Bachelorette captioned a slideshow of photos from their fun-filled trip. “A lot of love and a lot of champagne. A perfect week of celebrations with family and my fiancé.”
Kaitlyn — who lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with Jason but originally hails from Leduc, Alberta, Canada — concluded her post by acknowledging that she has yet to celebrate with loved ones from her hometown due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“Now if only I could get to Canada to see the other half,” she noted.
As Kaitlyn explained in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” last week, Jason’s proposal came as a surprise as she recorded an episode of her “Off the Vine” podcast.
“It was everything I could have asked for,” said the former franchise lead, who began dating Jason, an alum of “The Bachelorette” Season 14, in 2019. “The words that came out of his mouth were insanely beautiful.”
She added, “We’ve never locked eyes like that in our lives. We were holding hands, so intense, and I was listening to his every word but still blacked out.”
