Kaitlyn Bristowe Shares Behind-the-Scenes Details of Katie Thurston's 'Bachelorette' Season
Spill the tea, sis! Kaitlyn Bristowe stopped by “Bachelor Happy Hour” and chatted with Becca Kufrin and guest co-host Catherine Lowe about what to expect when Katie Thurston’s Season 17 of “The Bachelorette” kicks off next week.
Kaitlyn — who, alongside fellow former Bachelorette Tayshia Adams, acted as a mentor to Katie throughout filming— shared some fun behind-the-scenes secrets.
“We were secretly watching in a window trying to see the guys coming out,” said Kaitlyn, recalling night one. “And Katie would turn around to us a few times and be like, ‘Ooh,’ or she’d be like, ‘No!’ So that was funny to see her reactions.”
Elsewhere, Kaitlyn — who led Season 11 of “The Bachelorette” in 2015 and is now engaged to Jason Tartick — teased that Katie’s season premiere features “a few costumes, a few gags, and a few schticks.”
As for the mystery man who arrives in an oversized gift box, Kaitlyn isn’t sure whether viewers will discover his identity by the first Rose Ceremony.
“There’s a guy in a box, who I don’t even know if we get to figure out who that is by the Rose Ceremony. That will be exciting. I truly don’t know. I can’t remember if he was still in the box for the Rose Ceremony,” she said, later adding, “I wonder if we get to find out who the mystery man in the box is.”
