Lauren Burnham Luyendyk Shares Body Positive Message After Twins' Birth: 'Proud of This Squishy Belly'
Nearly two weeks after welcoming twins with husband Arie Luyendyk Jr., Lauren Burnham Luyendyk took to social media on Tuesday to share a photo of her postpartum body and an empowering message.
“11 day pp,” the Bachelor Nation star captioned a selfie on her Instagram Story. “Just a reminder that not everyone gets a flat tummy back after popping babies out and it’s all good! Proud of this squishy belly even if I have to ask, ‘What could possibly be in there?!’ Lol.”
In another post uploaded to her grid, Lauren looks happier than ever as she cuddles up to her twins, son Lux and daughter Senna. “don’t ask me why i’m still wearing hospital bracelets,” she wrote alongside the sweet pic. “i don’t even know what day it is.”
Lauren and Arie — who also share daughter Alessi, 2 — reflected on their first week as parents of three in a joint post, writing, “Our hearts grew another two sizes the day you came into this world. … We couldn’t be happier. You both already have such unique personalities. Senna, you’re sweet, calm and have the biggest, round eyes (when you decide to open them). Lux, you are a firecracker and need to be fed THE moment you wake up. We have to be ninjas when it comes to diaper changing, because you fly your legs all over the place.”

The Scottsdale, Arizona-based couple noted that Alessi has been “so excited to hold [her siblings] and help.”
Arie and Lauren welcomed their twins on June 11. “@Luyendyktwins are here!” Arie wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. “Momma and babies are doing great and everything went smoothly. Spending time cherishing these moments, thank you all for all the support.”
The pair — who tied the knot in January 2019 after falling in love on “The Bachelor” Season 22 — announced in December that Lauren was pregnant again following a devastating miscarriage in May 2020. Days later, they revealed that they were expecting two bundles of joy.
