Nick Viall Gushes Over Becoming a Dog Dad to His 'Fantastic' New Puppy Jeff
Proud pet parent! Nick Viall expressed his joy at becoming a dog dad to his new puppy Jeff in an exclusive interview with BachelorNation.com.
“I’ve wanted a dog for a long time,” the Season 21 Bachelor said, adding that he has some “dog allergies” that prolonged his search for the perfect pooch. “Finding the right hypoallergenic dog is something that delayed it.”
Then Jeff — an Australian Cobberdog — came along. “He’s a dog that works with the allergies that I have, so I’m thankful to have him,” said Nick. “He’s a specific breed but also part of the goldendoodle family. He is fantastic.”
The beloved franchise alum, who recently purchased a home in Los Angeles, said that the stars finally aligned for him to welcome a canine companion into his life.
“I bought a house not too long ago and my life is a little bit more settled than it had been in the last couple years,” he said. “Owning a dog and parenting a dog is no small task, so I wanted to be in a good position to give Jeff a loving home and it seemed like a good fit.”
Nick first introduced Bachelor Nation to Jeff via Instagram on June 10. “Family Man,” he wrote alongside a series of photos of himself and girlfriend Natalie Joy posing with the dog.
