Sharleen Joynt Takes Bachelor Nation Inside Her 'Special' Mexico Vacation with Husband Andy Levine
Sharleen Joynt headed over to Instagram on Thursday to give Bachelor Nation a glimpse inside her recent getaway to Costa Maya, Mexico, with husband Andy Levine.
"Mini album of our visit to Costa Maya," wrote the New York City-based “Bachelor” alum, who traveled to Mexico with Andy via a Celebrity Cruise. "Ours was the first cruise excursion to take place in this beautiful region in a year and a half! The welcome we received at the port was celebratory and emotional — so many livelihoods depend on tourism and it was really special to be a part of this moment."
Sharleen — who married Andy in September 2017 — went on to describe travel regulations enforced in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic: “Due to COVID, no passengers were allowed off the ship unless they were with a verified excursion, and each group traveled as a ‘bubble’ with strict protocols in place.”
The talented opera singer then recounted her and Andy’s trip to the Kohunlich Mayan Ruins. “It was nearly EMPTY (pretty mind-blowing for a cruise excursion of any kind) - we were the first tourists here in 6 months!!” she continued before sharing “some fun facts” about the incredible site.
Sharleen concluded her post by expressing her gratitude to experience the magic of Mexico as an adult years after a childhood vacation.
“I hadn’t been to Mexico since I was a kid and this was a priceless taste of this region’s rich history and culture,” she added. “Viva Mexico!”
