Emily Maynard Wishes Son Gibson a Happy 5th Birthday in Sweet Post
Bachelor Nation fan favorite Emily Maynard Johnson first appeared on Season 15 of “The Bachelor” and eventually went on to be the Season 8 Bachelorette.
As fans remember, Emily’s time on “The Bachelor” resulted in a short-lived engagement to Brad Womack. Then, on her season of “The Bachelorette,” she accepted a proposal from her final rose recipient, Jef Holm, but the two eventually parted ways.
Emily found her happily ever after with her husband of seven years, Tyler Johnson, after her time on the show. The two had met at church prior to her being the Bachelorette, and they eventually reconnected.
The couple got married in 2014 and share four children together. As fans know, Emily also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
This week, Emily took to Instagram to celebrate a special birthday for her and Tyler’s son Gibson.

Alongside a series of sweet photos, Emily celebrated Gibson’s fifth birthday, writing, “I just hope 5-year-old Gibson loves his mommy as much as 4-year-old Gibson does. You are so special to so many and I love watching you figure out this world. Happy Birthday my sweet Gibson!”
Fellow former Bachelorettes chimed in, sending Gibson their b-day wishes.
Deanna Stagliano commented, “He’s so handsome! Happy Birthday to your sweet boy!” and Desiree Siegfried wrote, “Happy birthday handsome lil man!”
And Gibson isn’t the only one of Emily’s kids who celebrated a milestone birthday recently.
Last month, Emily shared that her daughter Ricki got her driver’s license, which prompted Bachelor Nation fans to flood the comments to note how old it made them feel that Ricki was driving.

One person wrote, “Gosh time passes much too quickly! She was just a little girl when you were on the Bachelor,” and another fan added “Hugs! I cannot believe she’s 16!”
