Kevin Wendt & Astrid Loch Welcome New Family Member 1 Month Before Baby Wendt’s Arrival
Bachelor Nation stars Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch first met on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 5 and the couple has come a long way since then.
They’re engaged and expecting their first child together, with their bundle of joy due next month!
But even amid all the excitement of bringing a baby into the world, Kevin and Astrid just opened their hearts and their family to a new addition.
The two took to Instagram to share that they adopted a new puppy named Bean and revealed the sweet story behind how their new dog came into their life.
In his Instagram post, Kevin wrote, “This little angel has already been through more hard times in her short life than any animal should. She was found in Korea, on the street with 2 broken legs. Someone gave up on her so early and Astrid and I are here to make that up to her for the rest of her life.”

Kevin added that Bean is already “best friends” with their other pup Ace, and he encouraged his followers to look into rescuing pets rather than buying because “it’s a different kind of love knowing you saved their life.”
Astrid also took to Instagram to share that as soon as they saw the rescue organization Bunny’s Buddies post Bean on social media, they “IMMEDIATELY fell in love and knew she needed to join our family.”
The Bachelor Nation star added, “Although she’s tiny, she’s a warrior. After a few surgeries and a long recovery she’s finally home & Ace already loves his little sister.”

On her Instagram Story, Astrid also shared that despite the fact that she and Kevin are expecting a baby next month, they couldn’t pass up the opportunity to rescue Bean.
Fellow Bachelor Nation flooded the comments on the couple’s posts to share the love for their growing family.
Raven Gates Gottschalk, who’s also expecting, wrote, “This family is growing more adorable every month!”
Jason Tartick commented on Kevin’s post, saying, “Congrats man!”
And Alexis Waters and Kristina Schulman both wrote “OMG!” with heart eye emojis.
Congrats to Kevin and Astrid on their growing family! We know Ace and Bean will be the best big siblings when their baby arrives next month.
