New ‘Bachelor’ Host Jesse Palmer & Emely Fardo Palmer Share Intimate Wedding Details Over a Year Later
Last week it was announced that former Bachelor Jesse Palmer would be joining Season 26 of “The Bachelor” as the host.
Bachelor Nation was introduced to Jesse as the lead on Season 5 of “The Bachelor,” and he’s remained a loyal member of the Bachelor family since.
While his relationship from his time on the show didn’t last, Jesse found love off-screen with model Emely Fardo Palmer.
The two got engaged back in July 2019 after dating for nearly two years, and now Jesse and Emely are sharing the story of how they quietly got married last year.
In an interview with People, Jesse and Emely revealed that they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony June 5, 2020, about a year after getting engaged.
The couple shared that they originally planned a wedding in Provence, France, but postponed and eventually canceled the big wedding due to the ongoing pandemic.

Jesse and Emely decided to say “I do” at a friend’s house in Connecticut surrounded by some of their closest friends.
“We were only able to invite a small group of close friends that live in the greater N.Y.C. area, and that were in quarantine at the time,” the couple said. “We had a lovely afternoon and look forward to celebrating our love with our parents and immediate families all together soon! Big or small, wedding party or not, we feel so grateful and lucky to have found each other!”
Jesse and Emely hadn’t publicly announced their marriage until now, but they were seen wearing rings on their left ring fingers and Emely also added Jesse’s last name to her social media handles.
She’s also referred to Jesse as her husband in several of her posts, so it wasn’t like the newlyweds were trying to hide their love!
And now, Jesse is embarking on the journey of helping the next Bachelor find “the one,” and he’s honored to be a part of the exciting process.

In a statement, Jesse said, “Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.”
We can’t wait to see Jesse as the host of “The Bachelor,” and we’re sending him and Emely big congrats on their wedding!
