Arie & Lauren Luyendyk Open Up About Making Time for Each Other Since Welcoming Their Twins
Arie Luyendyk Jr. found love with Lauren Burnham Luyendyk on his season of “The Bachelor” in 2018.
Since Arie and Lauren’s time on the show, the two got married in January 2019 and have welcomed three children into the world: Alessi, 2, and fraternal twins Senna and Lux, 4 months.
With three young children, like any other parents, Arie and Lauren have to find ways to make time for each other amid all the parenting craziness.
Arie took to his Instagram Stories for a Q&A to answer fan questions about how their family has been doing since Senna and Lux’s arrival.
The former Bachelor first revealed how their daughter Alessi has been handling the new additions to their family.
Arie wrote that Alessi has been “so good. Occasionally there is some jealousy when it comes to sharing mom and dad, but 95% of the time she is so loving and sweet with them. Can’t wait to see their bond grow as they get older.”
He also revealed that both he and Lauren are doing well and shared a sweet video of his wife laughing.
One fan also asked how he and Lauren are making time for each other since welcoming the twins.
Arie candidly wrote, “You have to make time for each other! I feel that being great parents starts with the relationship you have with your wife/husband.”

And despite having three kids under 3, Arie and Lauren find time to have dates with just the two of them.
Recently, they went on a sailboat to celebrate Arie’s birthday and Lauren planned out a whole special day for them.
The two also frequently post pictures from their “date nights” on social media, along with tons of family photos, of course.
We love watching Arie and Lauren’s family continue to grow! Congrats again on welcoming the twins, and keep the date nights coming!
