Jade Roper Tolbert Shares Her Son Reed’s First Steps in Adorable New Video: ‘We Have a Walker!’
Bachelor Nation fan favorite Jade Roper Tolbert found love with Tanner Tolbert on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 2 back in 2015.
Since then, we’ve gone along on the journey as Jade and Tanner got married and had three adorable children together: daughter Emerson, 4, and sons Brooks, 2, and Reed, 11 months.
Reed is just days away from his first birthday, and he surprised his family with his very first steps.
Jade took to Instagram to share the major milestone with Bachelor Nation fans, writing, “WE HAVE A WALKER!! This was his third attempt, the first two he walked straight to Emmy when I was in the other room. 🥰🥰 How special she got to be a part of his first steps (and Daddy with the camera, good job, Tanner 😘)!!”
The mom continued, sharing both her excitement and fear now that she has three walking kiddos under five years old.
Jade wrote, “I was hoping Reed would wait a little longer to walk, for my sake of having TWO boy toddlers in the house 🥵 but he said, ‘Look out world, here I come!’ Haha. I’m so proud of him, these ‘firsts’ are simply the best! 😍”

The Bachelor Nation star also commented on her post, sharing, “I love how proud he is of himself!! Also that tongue! And Emmy’s sweet voice! Ugh just the best.”
The video of Reed’s first steps quickly raked in hundreds of thousands of views and fans flooded the comments showing love for this major milestone.
One person wrote, “Oh! Jade! The milestone! It is a huge one and I love Emmy’s encouragement for her baby bro.”
Another fan added, “It feels like just yesterday he was born! I had to go all the way back to your birth photos!! He is adorable.”
