Pieper James Posts Curly Hair Tutorial for This Trendy Style
Fans met Bachelor Nation star Pieper James on Season 25 of “The Bachelor” and she also appeared on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
And since her time on the shows, Pieper has moved in with fellow Bachelor Nation star Serena Chew and frequently hangs out with other women from her season, including Chelsea Vaughn, Abigail Heringer, and Kit Keenan, who all also live in New York City.
Pieper has been keeping fans up with all things travel, beauty, skin care, fashion, and more on social media.
Most recently, the Bachelor Nation star shared a tutorial on how to achieve the trendy headband hairstyle with curly hair.
In the past, Pieper has shown fans how to rock other trendy hairstyles with curly hair, like curtain bangs and a middle part low bun.
Her curly hair content has gone viral on social media and her latest video is no different.
Alongside her new video for the headband hair tutorial, Pieper wrote, “I wear this style a lot when I’m going somewhere that requires a little bit more of a formal look. I love wearing my hair down and I love how this style elevates a look.”

The Bachelor Nation star continued, noting, “My two formal go-to styles are this at a slicked back bun and if the outfit requires more hair to be shown I like to rock this half slick half out curly hair look. Let me know what you guys think!”
She goes step by step in her video and explains how she achieves this look, starting with taking a rat-tail comb to separate the front section and choose how much hair she wants to be slicked down in the headband.
Next, Pieper takes a leave-in conditioner and works it through all of her hair before taking a gel to slick down the front pieces.
Pieper uses a brush along with the hair gel to swoop those front pieces back and puts the rest of her hair up to keep it out of the way.
As she combs through the front pieces, she makes sure the hair is landing where she wants it to stay once the whole style is complete.
Once Pieper pulls her hair behind her ears, she secures it back with a hair tie into a small ponytail and says this trick really keeps the hair slicked back and in place.
The Bachelor Nation star uses bobby pins to tame any flyaways in the headband and runs a bit of gel through the rest of her hair to keep down any other flyaways.
