Tayshia Adams Shares First Post Since NYC Marathon, Calling It ‘My Most Rewarding Accomplishments Yet’
She did that!
Former Bachelorette and current “Bachelorette” host Tayshia Adams ran her first marathon ever last week and is finally sharing how she’s feeling after the major accomplishment.
Tayshia ran the New York City Marathon in 4 hours and 40 minutes with her fiancé Zac Clark by her side every step of the way.
The two hugged and cried as they crossed the finish line, and now Tayshia is opening up about her experience.
The Bachelor Nation star wrote, “Well guys, I did it! I’m officially a Marathoner! This past weekend was probably one of my most rewarding accomplishments yet. I can’t even begin to describe how incredible I felt with all the support screaming throughout the streets of New York. In fact I remember thinking y’all are making me cry and I’m already trying to run & breathe at the same time…”

Tayshia continued, explaining that while she ran the race with the goal of helping others through her charity donation, she found a better version of herself along the way on those 26.2 miles.
“The entire race was a rollercoaster of emotions, but I think my biggest take away has been a newfound appreciation of my own strength & resilience. Although I did this with a bigger purpose in mind of helping others, I walked away as a better version of myself- confident in her abilities, ready to seek more, and appreciative of her community,” the former Bachelorette explained.
She thanked those who cheered her on along the way and from afar, as well as her best friend James, who flew out to New York to cheer her on.
And Tayshia wrote a special thank you to her fiancé Zac for “running with me every step of the way.”

As fans know, the road to recovery since the marathon has had its ups and downs for Tayshia.
The former Bachelorette shared that her legs were in pain the days following the race and that she struggled to wear heels even days later.
Tayshia also shared earlier this week that she had been hospitalized for a kidney infection after experiencing severe stomach pain.
But Tayshia noted that the infection wasn’t a result of the marathon, and she plans on running the race again next year.
Congrats again to Tayshia on this major accomplishment, and we are sending her love as she continues to recover!
