Astrid Loch Shares 40-Week Bump-Date Photo: ‘Baby Is Holding On Against Mom’s Wishes’

Bachelor Nation stars Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt met during Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Since then, the two have gotten engaged, Astrid moved to Canada, and they are expecting their first child together!
The couple first announced their pregnancy in May 2021 after Astrid shared their experience with IVF and infertility. The two were beyond excited to reveal that they were finally expecting.
Now, we’re days away from baby Wendt’s arrival and Astrid just got real with fans in her 40-week bump-date post.
The Bachelor Nation star and soon-to-be mom shared a photo of her belly and wrote, “Hello 40 weeks. Baby is holding on against mom’s wishes. Yesterday was a hard day mentally but I’m feeling better this morning.”
In another post, Astrid shared that she’s been trying to do everything to induce labor, but she hasn’t had any luck yet.
“I guess baby really comes when they’re ready,” she wrote. “I’ve had two membrane sweeps, curb walked, drank raspberry leaf tea, bounced on a ball, and I’ve eaten an abnormal amount of pineapple.”
And just a couple days prior, Astrid shared a photo of her belly with “9 months” written on it, saying, “ready when you are Baby W.”
Kevin and Astrid shared that they are ready for their baby with a beach-themed nursery, which is perfect for the couple who met on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Astrid wrote, “After meeting on the beach it was only right to create a little nautical dream space for our little beach babe. Can’t wait to meet Baby W and bring him or her home.”
