20 Questions with Joe: Find Out What He Learned on ‘The Bachelorette,’ Plus: What He Says to Fans Asking Him If He ‘Won’
Fans are getting to know Joe on Michelle Young’s season of “The Bachelorette.” He’s currently vying for Michelle’s heart and looking for love with the Bachelorette.
After Joe and Michelle got emotional on their one-on-one date this week, he stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast where he opened up about why he felt so comfortable sharing his story with Michelle.
The Bachelor Nation star said that in addition to wanting Michelle to see another side of him, he knew that she would understand his struggle since she was also a Division 1 basketball player.
Joe explained, “I never wanted anyone to feel sorry for me, so trying to explain that to somebody who hasn’t been through that process and that grind wouldn’t fully understand. Having someone to talk to about it who has been through that process and has gone through those hard days of practice and conditioning made it really good to build that deeper connection that we have together.”
But outside his time on “The Bachelorette,” there’s still so much to learn about fan favorite Joe.
Here, he opens up exclusively to BachelorNation.com, answering 20 rapid-fire questions.
