Bachelor Nation fans are getting to know Brandon J. on Michelle Young’s season of “The Bachelorette.”

And while Brandon J. and Michelle’s love story is still unfolding onscreen, he stopped by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast to discuss his time on the show.

He revealed why it was important to ask Michelle’s parents for their daughter’s hand in marriage right when he met them.

Brandon J. said, “At that moment, I was so invested in Michelle and I didn’t know where I was going to end up in this process or where her connections were with other guys, so I realized it was an opportunity I couldn’t let go.”
