Kirpa Sudick Shares Recipe for Healthy Avocado Brownies, Including Her Tip So You Don’t Taste the Avocado
Dessert with a healthy twist!
If you’ve been keeping up with Bachelor Nation star Kirpa Sudick since her time on Season 23 of “The Bachelor,” you know that she loves to share her love of food with fans on social media.
Kirpa has posted countless recipes and food photos that are sure to make you hungry as you scroll through her feed.
Her latest post is a recipe you can easily make at home and you won’t even notice that it’s a healthy twist on a decadent dessert: Brownies.
Kirpa took to Instagram to share her recipe for flourless avocado brownies, which use avocado in place of butter. The recipe is completely gluten- and dairy-free but still completely delicious.
While avocado in dessert may sound strange, the Bachelor Nation star assures fans that the brownies are as tasty as ever.
In her post, Kirpa wrote “Not going to lie…I was skeptical about how these would taste. I’m pleasantly surprised that they actually tasted like a fudgy brownie!”
Kirpa’s ingredients are listed below:
- 1 ripe avocado (about 6 ounces; 1/2 cup mashed)⠀
- 1/2 cup or cocoa powder⠀
- 2 eggs⠀
- 1 cup coconut brown sugar ⠀
- 1/4 cup almond butter⠀
- 1 teaspoon baking powder⠀
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract⠀
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt⠀
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (you can use dairy-free chips if you’d like!)⠀
Once you have all your ingredients, Kirpa’s first instruction is to add each ingredient one at a time, starting with the avocado, into a food processor and process until all ingredients are blended smoothly.
Once the batter is blended, fold in chocolate chips before adding the batter to a greased or lined pan.
Bake the brownies at 325 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes, and when they are finished, sprinkle some sea salt flakes on top.
In order to not taste the avocado at all, Kirpa suggests waiting to eat the brownies until they are completely cooled.
