Michelle & Nayte Celebrate Making History as the First Couple of Color from ‘The Bachelor’ or ‘The Bachelorette’
History made!
Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya found love and got engaged on Season 18 of “The Bachelorette,” and the moment was historic.
Not only are these two head over heels for each other, but they are officially the first couple of color to come from “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette.”
This is a major moment in franchise history, and the newly engaged couple stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast where they discussed making history.
Michelle said, “It’s about damn time!” and Nayte chimed in, saying, “Black love, baby!”
The Bachelorette also shared that she and Nayte have had conversations about changing the world and making a difference since day one of their relationship.
She shared that she and Nayte are very aligned on their goals coming out of the show and making history with their engagement is just the beginning.
Michelle added, “It’s been really cool to be a part of this experience and to make history in this way.” We couldn’t agree more, and we love their love!
This is just the beginning for Nayte and Michelle. We can’t wait for all that’s to come for these two!
