Michelle Young & Nayte Olukoya Reveal Their Wedding Plans Are ‘Picking Up Speed,’ Plus: How Many Kids They Want!
Wedding bells are ringing!
Fans saw Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya fall in love and get engaged on Season 18 of “The Bachelorette.”
And while their journey had its ups and downs, Michelle and Nayte couldn’t be more in love, and their love for one another has only gotten stronger since their time on the show.
Now, the couple sat down exclusively with People and discussed everything from wedding plans to family planning and more.
Since their “Bachelorette” journey came to an end, Michelle told the outlet, “We’re so excited to start our life together,” and Nayte added, “The show only lasts so long. Now it’s done and we’re just two people madly in love, going down the road.”

And that road leads to a wedding, which may be coming soon!
The former Bachelorette shared that when it comes to their wedding, “The planning is picking up speed. No shade to anybody who wants a long engagement, but that’s not us. We’re like, cool, you’re my person, I’m your person. We’re ready!”

Nayte is already planning on moving to Minnesota to start his life with Michelle. He told People, “I’m looking forward to packing up and seeing what Minnesota is like. I’m all in. And I’m excited! We are both leaning towards a summertime wedding.”
In previous interviews, Michelle and Nayte also shared that they hope to get married within the next year, so who knows, summer 2022 could be their moment!
And after that, the two are already thinking ahead to starting a family together.
Michelle teased, “We want 10 kids! I’m kidding, but I do want him to myself for a little bit.”
Nayte chimed in, adding, “We want to travel around, just be Michelle and Nayte right now. But the kids will come!”
How exciting! We love Michelle and Nayte’s love and know that this is only just the beginning for these two. We can’t wait to watch them change the world together!
