This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Nick Viall Meets with Former Bachelors Sean Lowe, Chris Soules & Ben Higgins
Throwing it back!
As we welcome a new season of “The Bachelor” with Clayton Echard’s premiere airing tonight, let’s take a walk down “Bachelor” memory lane.
This week in Bachelor Nation history, former Bachelor Nick Viall kicked off his season with some advice from former Bachelors Sean Lowe, Chris Soules, and Ben Higgins.
The three former Bachelors met with Nick at the Bachelor Mansion for a chat as he started his journey as the lead.
During the episode, Nick said he was looking forward to getting some tips, explaining, “I’ve certainly put in my time in Bachelor world, but I’ve never been in this position before. It’s important for me to get as much advice as I can from the people who’ve been there before.”
After Sean brought up that some people may not be happy about Nick being the Bachelor, Nick shared that while he was once considered somewhat of a Bachelor Nation villain, “over time the more people have gotten to see me, the more they’ve gotten to know the real me better and appreciate the person I am.”
He also said that while there have been ups and downs on his Bachelor Nation journey, he “wouldn’t change anything because I’ve learned a lot about myself and I have a better appreciation of how my actions can not only affect me, but other people.”
Ben said that the Nick he first saw on Andi Dorfman’s season is not the Nick sitting in front of them now, so he advised Nick to just be himself and trust himself.
Ben also shared what surprised him most on night one, saying, “All these women really came to explore a relationship with me. It definitely humbled me. They were all so beautiful and they’d given up their lives for this.”
The Bachelors cheers’ed to the “fourth time being the charm” for Nick as he headed out on his journey to find love.
