‘The Bachelor’s’ Gabby Clears the Air on Past Relationships with Fellow Bachelor Nation Stars
Bachelor Nation fans met Gabby on night one of Clayton’s season of “The Bachelor.”
As she continues to vie for Clayton’s heart on-screen, there has been some conversation among fans about her previous off-screen dating life.
Gabby stopped by the “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” podcast to discuss whether or not she really dated fellow Bachelor Nation stars Dean Unglert and Blake Horstmann.
When co-hosts Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo asked her about her dating history, Gabby said, “We don’t have our phones while we are filming, then I came home to all this stuff about Blake and Dean had been talking about me. It seemed like it was all really positive things, which I’m grateful for. There’s a lot of conversation about it.”
So she cleared the air about her relationship with Dean and revealed, “I dated Dean over 10 years ago. I think we were 18 or 19 years old and we were back in college. He was one of my first loves, but it’s very distant from where I’m at now. It was so long ago, it’s a distant past from my experience on ‘The Bachelor.’ Clayton and my story is very much its own thing. I’m grateful it was far in the past so I could focus more on Clayton and be present.”
As for Blake, though, Gabby said they never actually dated, despite him saying they did.

The Bachelor Nation star shared, “Blake and I had mutual friends when I first got out of college, around 2013 or 2014. We never actually went on a date, so there were no drinks paid for or no dinner paid for. He’s saying we dated, but no, we didn’t date. He’s definitely a friend of friends and we had spent time together, but definitely no official dating or exclusivity.”
She continued, adding, “It was also a really long time ago. I’ve had boyfriends since both of them that have really taught me a lot and have helped me grow into myself as a woman and as a partner. I’m grateful for all the nice things those guys said about me, but it’s nice to kind of clear up my dating history!”
