Brandon Jones Shares Photos in the Infamous ‘Top Gun’ Jacket and Reveals When Will Gifted It to Him
The jacket is back!
If you watched Michelle Young’s season of “The Bachelorette,” you saw the drama surrounding the “Top Gun”-themed date and Will Urena’s winning bomber jacket.
After Will was given the jacket as a gift from Michelle for winning the date, his castmate Peter Izzo threw it in the pool out of anger as drama heated up between himself and Will.
But now, the infamous jacket lives on and a new cast member from the season posted wearing it.
Bachelorette finalist Brandon Jones took to Instagram to post a photo of him in the original “Top Gun” date bomber jacket and explained how it ended up in his possession.
Brandon took to Instagram to share photos of him wearing the jacket and wrote “Approved to finally say word back to Will... I will always be your wingman! Over & out.”
He also revealed how he ended up with the jacket, writing, “Back story: After Will was gifted a second jacket from Michelle at his last rose ceremony, before he departed Palm Springs he left me the first top gun jacket. He wanted to make sure I would have one too so I could remember him.”
Brandon went on, “As an update, he’s currently my best friend so we did a photoshoot from opposite states. Chlorine took most of the patches… except one, the rose.”
Will commented on Brandon’s post, writing, “My brother 4lyfe! You was a real one from day 1! I’ll always have your back!”
So while both Brandon and Will didn’t end up with Michelle’s final rose, they found a new best friend, and you know we love a good bromance around here!
Fans commented on Brandon’s post, saying that this bromance was “another love story from this season that we didn’t know we needed,” and another said, “We need a pic of you and Will together, both wearing your jackets!”
