Kaitlyn Bristowe, Nick Viall & More Mourn Bachelor Nation Star Clint Arlis Amid News of His Death
Bachelor Nation is mourning the death of “Bachelorette” contestant Clint Arlis, who passed away this week at 34.
Fans remember Clint from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of “The Bachelorette,” where he was known for his bromance with JJ Lane and for his famous catchphrase “Villains gotta vill.”
Clint’s sister Taylor Lulek confirmed the news of his passing on Facebook, writing, “It is with great sadness, to tell you that my family has lost my best friend and older brother Clint on the morning of January 11th. Please respect our family’s privacy as we try to cope with this great loss. Details on the service will follow.”
Taylor did not provide information on her brother’s cause of death.
Clint’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars have been taking to social media to mourn the tragic loss.
Nick Viall, who knew Clint from his time on Kaitlyn’s season, took to Twitter and wrote, “Just heard about the passing of Clint Arlis. I got a chance to get to know Clint a little after our time on Kaitlyn’s season and I always enjoy our time and conversations. A very kind, unique, and talented person who was taken from this world far too soon. RIP Clint.”

Kaitlyn also posted a series of videos on her Instagram stories sharing her devastation over this news.
The former Bachelorette said, “This is an Instagram story I did not think I’d be doing tonight. Clint, who was on my season of ‘The Bachelorette,’ he’s tragically passed. He was only 34 years old. I’m not sure what happened or how it happened. All I want is that from knowing him on the show, even though things didn’t end on the best terms for us, I have heard nothing but incredible things about him. From his peers, his students, his coaches, his teachers, his friends, his family, Clint was very well respected in his world and it is an absolute tragedy.”
She continued on, adding, “I don’t know much right now and it’s none of my business, this Instagram story is literally to say to anyone who knows him who might follow me that I am so sorry. It’s such a huge loss and I’m honestly beside myself with this news. If there’s anything I can do, anything at all, please let me know and let’s all say a prayer and be there for Clint’s family during this time.”
Former Bachelor producer Naz Perez also took to her Stories and wrote, “My heart is so heavy hearing of the passing of Clint. He was one of the first cast members on the show I connected with my first season. His passion for design and architecture and sense of humor will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.”
We are sending our deepest condolences to Clint’s loved ones at this time and know he will be deeply missed.
