Jess & Ben Higgins Introduce Adorable New Family Member: ‘Welcome Home Waylon!’
They’re officially parents… dog parents, that is!
As Bachelor Nation fans know, former Bachelor Ben Higgins married the love of his life, Jess Clarke Higgins, in November 2021.
Since then, the two have been honeymooning, moving in together, and spending time with each other’s families.
And now, the newlyweds shared an exciting announcement with Bachelor Nation fans this week.
They adopted a puppy from fellow Bachelor Nation star Elyse Dehlborn, whose dog Gracie had eight puppies.
Ben took to Instagram to share the exciting news, writing, “Welcome home Waylon. I hope you find this home a safe place full of love and warmth. Also, thanks for napping so I can get some work done. And finally, thanks for being so cute.”
Jess also shared photos and videos with their new family member and couldn’t get enough of the puppy love.
Elyse took to her Instagram page and wrote, “So glad that Waylon is going to such loving parents. I know he will bring so much joy to the Higgins home. Thank you Ben and Jess for trusting me with the first part of his journey!”
And after their first night together as a family, Ben posted, “First night with the small guy went great! He is happy and a bouncing bundle of joy.”
He also asked, “How am I supposed to ever do anything productive again? How can you not love a sleeping dreaming puppy? These are my morning questions.”
Very valid questions that every dog owner can relate to!
Congrats to Ben and Jess on your new addition. We can’t wait for all the Waylon content to come!
