We sat down with Bachelor Nation fan favorite Rodney Mathews, from Season 18 of “The Bachelorette,” to chat about his dream Valentine’s Day dates.

Bachelor Nation: What would you do for a date with a budget of $0?
Rodney Mathews: I would personally love to just take a walk around the park, on the beach, or go on a hike.
BN: Those sound like great free ideas! Okay, now, what would you do for a date with a budget of $10?
RM: With $10, I would try to set up a little picnic with my date’s choice of fast food. I have no idea how to have fun using only 10 bucks, but I’ll find a way!
BN: You could definitely find a way! A fast food picnic sounds like fun! Next up, what would you do for a date with a budget of $100?
RM: Oh, this would have to be dinner and a movie! I love movies!
BN: The perfect date night! Last but not least, what would you do for a date with a budget of $1,000?
RM: I would like to take my date to a nice steakhouse like Mastro’s or Fleming’s and then be spontaneous afterwards and check out a newer bar or karaoke spot close by.
