‘The Bachelor’s’ Eliza Discusses the Most Shocking Parts of Watching the Show Back
Bachelor Nation fans have gotten to know Eliza throughout Clayton Echard’s season of “The Bachelor.”
She’s made a great impression on both the Bachelor and Bachelor Nation, and now the Berlin native is stopping by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast to discuss her time on the show.
Eliza looked back on her journey and opened up to Joe Amabile, Natasha Parker, and Tia Booth about what it’s been like to watch the show back with the rest of the world.
The Bachelor Nation star shared, “It’s been interesting, to say the least. This happened months ago, so I’ve just been back in the swing of my own life. But now, having this all play back has been interesting to live it all again.”
Eliza continued on, saying, “I’ve been seeing so much behind the scenes that I didn’t even know was happening while I was on the show. I feel like there’s a lot I’m watching for the first time along with everyone else. It’s been a ride for sure.”
The “Click Bait” co-hosts asked Eliza what the most surprising part of watching the show back has been and Eliza had one answer: Shanae.

Eliza said, “The most shocking thing watching it all back has hands down been Shanae. I have no words. While I was there, I heard parts of her shenanigans and then I would hear things about other parts. But I had no idea it was as ridiculous and horrible as it was.”
And while Eliza said she thought she knew what was going on with Shanae while filming, she wasn’t privy to as much as she thought she was.
She explained, “I didn’t know the extent of it. I knew that she was definitely giving bad vibes from the moment that I met her. Something always seemed a little bit off, but I didn’t see the things she was saying in her interviews behind our backs. It was really crazy.”
Eliza also shared, “Shanae never did anything to me directly where she singled me out or targeted me, but I saw how she was treating other women in the house and I knew she wasn’t for me. I just had no idea it was as horrible as it was.”
And so how does Eliza feel about Shanae now after watching the show back?
Well, she said, “Usually, I try to stay pretty neutral in things that don’t directly involve me, but it’s hard to not take a side when you see how she treated your friends.”
