The newlyweds checked in!

In January 2014, former Bachelor Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Lowe tied the knot on live television in front of millions of Bachelor Nation fans.

After their nuptials, the two headed to Bora Bora for a romantic honeymoon but made time to check in with Bachelor Nation once they returned.

The two stopped by the “Women Tell All” special during Season 18 of “The Bachelor” for a post-wedding and honeymoon catch-up.

This week in Bachelor Nation history, we celebrate Sean and Catherine’s return to our screens for the first time as a married couple.

Catherine debuted her new haircut, which included bangs, and called it her “after-wedding” look because she just wanted to try something new and different now that the big day was behind them.

And Sean revealed when the two watched their wedding special that aired live on ABC.

The former Bachelor said, “We went to Bora Bora for our honeymoon directly after our wedding, but the first thing we wanted to do when we got home was watch the wedding. We were blown away because there was so much that we didn’t even get to see. It was awesome! And not only that but we have the beginning of our relationship from the first time we met all the way through to our wedding recorded, so we’ll be able to one day be able to sit down and show our kids.”

And the two discussed what happened after the wedding on their wedding night because Sean was famously the first-ever virgin Bachelor.

Catherine said the evening was romantic, noting, “The wedding night was very romantic with rose petals and we got to look at our rings and really take it all in.”

Sean joked that there were “fireworks” between them and Catherine joked back that there were “very quick fireworks!”

After having a laugh about that, Sean shared more details about their honeymoon and revealed he got to check something off his bucket list.

He said, “The honeymoon was awesome. We got to swim with sharks and stingrays, which has always been on my bucket list. We had this incredible opportunity to swim with the sharks and we’re feeding the stingrays. But as I was feeding a stingray, one latched on to my man parts! I absolutely freaked out and yelled. It hurt, but I got over it. The rest of the honeymoon was perfect!”

They revealed that they were hoping to start trying for kids in around a year from when that episode aired, and now, the couple shares three children together.
