Gabby & Rachel Unravel Over Clayton’s Confession, Plus: A Shocking Turn of Events Could Change Everything
“The truth shall set you free…”
“The Bachelor’s” Clayton Echard learned that the hard way when relaying the cold, hard truth to Susie during his final date prior to their night in the Fantasy Suites.
This week’s episode of “The Bachelor” kicked off on a high note after Clayton Echard professed his love to both Gabby and Rachel, but everything came crashing down once Susie learned about his feelings for the other two women.
Clayton finally made the decision to send Susie home after she appeared to have made up her mind about being unable to move forward in a relationship with him.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
The preview for next week’s episode shows the aftermath of Clayton’s decisions with the women prior to his Fantasy Suite night with Susie.
The “Bachelor” star is seen getting into a heated discussion with Gabby as she tells him, “Your actions speak way louder than your words. I can’t believe anything you say. Not one thing.”
In the next scene, Clayton’s family pays him a visit in Iceland, but neither Gabby nor Rachel were anywhere to be seen.
Clayton tells his parents he wishes he “never would’ve fallen in love,” but his father kept it real, telling his son, “You’ve put yourself in this situation. Screwed the pooch, in my opinion.”
The preview then cuts to the Rose Ceremony, where Clayton remains fully transparent with Rachel and Gabby, telling them, “I am in love with each of you, and I was also intimate with both of you.”
Emotions begin to unravel as the two remaining women break down in tears. Rachel asks during her confessional, “He’s in love with all of us, so how could it be special at all?”
During the same heavy conversation with his father, Clayton explains that he “had no idea this was going to happen,” to which his father delivers a bit of tough love.
“Don’t blame anybody but yourself. You’re grasping at straws,” he says.
With Gabby and Rachel’s futures with Clayton up in the air, “Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer then greets Clayton in his hotel room to deliver “some news that is going to change everything.”
As Clayton attempts to reason with Gabby, she doesn’t buy his explanation, telling him that his words are “bulls--t.” Rachel is in tears on the floor during the Rose Ceremony, saying, “This is not how I wanted it to go.”
The clip ends with an uncertain Clayton saying, “I want to believe love is here, but I just don’t know what’s gonna happen.”
Does Susie come back for a second chance at love? Will Gabby and Rachel decide to leave Iceland without a fiancé? Are Clayton’s past mistakes too far gone to fix?
Be sure to tune in to the two-night season finale of “The Bachelor” next Monday and Tuesday, March 14 and 15, at 8 p.m. ET to find out!
