Andrew Spencer Reveals Why He ‘Doesn’t Believe’ in Long-Distance Relationships, and What He’d Do If He Met Someone in ‘Paradise’
It’s no secret that long-distance relationships aren’t easy. Communication is key, and having an end date in sight is also helpful.
But even with helpful advice and tips, doing long distance isn’t for everyone.
This week, Bachelor Nation fan favorite Andrew Spencer stopped by the “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” podcast and revealed why long-distance relationships aren’t for him.
He also shared what this means for him if he goes on “Bachelor in Paradise” and falls in love, because many “Paradise” couples end up doing long distance for a bit after the show.
Andrew told co-hosts Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo that if he met the right person, “I’m pretty open to moving anywhere. I don’t believe in long-distance relationships. I’ve been in it and it takes a toll on both people and isn’t very healthy. Just having that person around does a lot more good for me than having them be over the phone.”
He continued on saying, “Whatever the case may be, if I meet someone and she wants to move towards me or I move to her, I am open to either. Whatever would fit for both of us.”

Andrew said despite recently moving to Chicago, he really is open to moving again and is looking forward to hopefully going to “Paradise.”
He said, “That’s why I’m so excited to go to ‘Paradise,’ because these people you can meet on the show don’t live anywhere near me. There’s no Chicago cast members that I think would be going to the beach. I’ve already thought about this and I’m very comfortable moving anywhere.”
How exciting!
We hope to see Andrew on the beach this summer and look forward to all the relationships that will develop.
