Hunter Montgomery Shares 15-Year Sobriety Milestone and Celebrates with His Bachelor Nation Family
A reason to celebrate.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Hunter Montgomery on Season 17 of “The Bachelorette,” and he’s continued to share his journey with his followers on social media.
On social media, Hunter often posts with his Bachelor Nation friends, his girlfriend, and his dogs, but he’s also not afraid to get candid about more vulnerable topics like his sobriety.
Hunter shared a bit about his sobriety during his time on the show, but now just opened up more in a new post.
He took to Instagram and wrote, “Last week, I celebrated a milestone in my recovery that I will never forget - 15 years sober. Throughout this journey, I have met and grown to love so many people, from so many different walks of life. The past few years haven’t been comfortable, or easy, but the experiences they have brought me cannot be replaced.”

The Bachelor Nation star concluded his post by thanking his friends and family for putting the celebration together, writing, “Thank you to those who joined the celebration, and for those of you that couldn’t make it, your support and continuous love for me means the world. Cheers to 15 more years of growth, love, and serenity.”
Alongside his post, Hunter shared photos with his fellow Bachelor Nation stars who celebrated with him, including Katie Thurston, John Hersey, Thomas Jacobs, Brendan Scanzano, Mike Planeta, Connor Brennan and more.
