The ‘Chicks in the Office’ Share Their Thoughts on Gabby & Rachel’s Joint Bachelorette Season
The “Chicks in the Office” are dishing on all things Bachelor Nation!
Podcast royalty Ria Ciuffo and Fran Mariano, aka the hosts of “Chicks in the Office,” are not only topping the podcast charts, they’re also big Bachelor Nation fans.
The two have been watching and recapping the show for years and have also interviewed countless Bachelor Nation stars.
And this week, they joined Michelle Young and Becca Kufrin for a candid chat on “Bachelor Happy Hour,” where they talked about Gabby and Rachel’s upcoming season of “The Bachelorette.”
The podcast duo shared that they’re excited about the joint season, despite their initial hesitations.

Ria started off, saying, “I’m excited now, but originally my first reaction was that it could be a bad idea because they were just both fighting for Clayton. But then, I decided I love a little change-up and I love the idea of some drama.”
She continued, sharing, “I really like them both, though, and I don’t want them to end up fighting over a guy. I hope they have different guys or just that the guys don’t screw them over.”
Fran chimed in and shared that she had a similar initial reaction and agrees she hopes there’s no drama between the two leads.
The podcast host said, “I think we both had the same initial reaction because we’re also still scarred from what they did at the beginning of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season when they tried to have two Bachelorettes. It’s obviously going to be a different format from that because that went so poorly with voting for who the guys wanted to be the Bachelorette.”
Ria said that she thinks the friendship between Gabby and Rachel is strong enough to fend off unnecessary drama.

She said, “I think that they have a great friendship that they created on Clayton’s season and we’ve all seen that, so I don’t want their friendship to be tested by the guys. That would be the opposite of what these two deserve after what happened this season.”
And Fran agreed, adding, “The girls can still be close and understanding, like if Gabby’s with some guy and he says he wants to get to know Rachel, they seem strong enough to know that that’s not Rachel’s fault. Gabby wouldn’t be mad at Rachel for that.”
The two also shared that they don’t know what the format is of the show and they’re curious to see if the guys are going to split up into two groups for each Bachelorette or if Gabby and Rachel will have the same group of guys.
Fran and Ria are excited to see how it all plays out, and so are we! But until then, check out their full episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” below.
