Clayton Echard & Susie Evans Celebrate Clayton’s Birthday by Meeting an Adorable Sloth
The perfect celebration!
Former Bachelor Clayton Echard and his girlfriend Susie Evans celebrated his 29th birthday over the weekend.
The Bachelor Nation couple just finished their road trip across the country from Scottsdale, Arizona, to Virginia Beach, Virginia, where they now live together.
For Clayton’s birthday, Susie took him to the Virginia Zoo, where they got to meet and feed an adorable sloth.
Susie first shared a photo of her and Clayton popping champagne and wrote, “Clayton and my face when we found out we were going to meet a sloth for his birthday!”
And she also shared a video of the sweet encounter where Clayton got to feed the adorable sloth.
Many of Clayton and Susie’s fellow Bachelor Nation fans couldn’t get enough of this moment and thought the champagne-popping photo was a potential announcement.

Victoria Fuller wrote, “I thought you were having a baby. Sloths are dope too tho!”
Nayte Olukoya agreed, saying, “Definitely thought I was gonna swipe to a few ultrasound pictures 😂.”
Some fans even thought it could be an engagement announcement, but nope! Just a birthday celebration with a sloth.
Bachelor Nation host Jesse Palmer also chimed in, asking, “Did @claytonechard just feed that sloth a french fry…”
And Clayton replied, “@jessepalmer I honestly don’t know what I was feeding it. I was too happy that I just fed whatever they put into my hand!”
Susie added that the sloth probably would’ve loved a french fry!
Well, this sounds like the perfect way to ring in the last year of Clayton’s 20s! Happy birthday; here’s to many more sloth encounters in the future!
