Jasmine Nguyen Shares Powerful Video in Honor of AAPI Heritage Month: ‘Representation Matters’
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and Bachelor Nation star Jasmine Nguyen is speaking out about the importance of AAPI representation.
Fans first met Jasmine on Season 24 of “The Bachelor,” and since then, she’s been keeping Bachelor Nation updated with her life on social media, where she has hundreds of thousands of followers across her platforms.
She shares everything from style tips to recipes to skin care/makeup and everything in between.
And she recently took to Instagram and TikTok to share why she’s being the AAPI role model online she didn’t have growing up.
Jasmine wrote, “POV: I grew up never really seeing many Vietnamese content creators or fashion/lifestyle bloggers that looked like me, so I became one. Representation matters.”
Alongside her caption, Jasmine shared a video containing a series of photos from her life as a Vietnamese content creator.
Her video quickly raked in hundreds of thousands of views on TikTok.

Many of Jasmine’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars showed support for her in the comments.
Madi Prewett wrote, “YESSS!! Love you!” and Kiarra Norman wrote, “Love love love this!”
We couldn’t agree more, and we love seeing Jasmine thrive and be a role model for many others that look up to her.
