NotSkinnyButNotFat’s Amanda Hirsch Reveals Her Favorite Season of ‘The Bachelor’ and Why It’s a Must-Watch

The queen of pop culture, Amanda Hirsch — aka NotSkinnyButNotFat — stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast this week!
Amanda is known for covering all things entertainment news, including reality TV shows like the Bachelor Nation shows, “The Kardashians,” and more.
Now, Amanda revealed which season of “The Bachelor” is her favorite and why she thinks it’s must-see TV.
Co-host Becca Kufrin asked Amanda when she started watching the Bachelor franchise and Amanda got into her fandom.

The social media star said, “Ben Higgins was my first season I really watched. It wasn’t that recent anymore, but that was JoJo Fletcher, Lauren Bushnell, and them. That’s when I really started watching watching. Before that, I watched here and there and I knew it.”
She went on, saying, “I was sort of watching during Trista and Ryan Sutter’s season and loved those first couples. But the Ben Higgins season was really the one.”
And Amanda shared that Ben Higgins was her first and also her favorite season, saying, “Even today I get asked by people if I’d recommend a season and I feel like Ben Higgins season is such a classic one. He’s such a certain type and you’ve got JoJo!”
Becca chimed in, saying, “That season sticks out to me because he was one of the first leads to say, ‘I love you’ to two people.”

And Amanda added, “He didn’t get as much sh*t for that back then” as some of the leads do now.
Becca agreed saying, “I think he did get some, but not in the same way that other leads coming after him did. I think he set the precedent for the amount of I love yous and if you should or shouldn’t say it. He started the conversation about how much you should divulge to someone you are about to get engaged to.”
