Trista Sutter & Andrew Firestone Discuss Setting Up Their Kids Brooks and Blakesley One Day
Could a Bachelor Nation next-generation romance be brewing?!
Former Bachelorette Trista Sutter was joined by former Bachelor Andrew Firestone on her “Almost Famous OGs” podcast.
The two were discussing Bachelor Nation couples when the conversation about setting their kids up one day came up.
Andrew shares three children with his wife Ivana, including his 13-year-old son Brooks.
Trista and her husband Ryan Sutter, who she met on “The Bachelorette,” also have a 13-year-old, their daughter Blakesley.

Now, Trista and Andrew discussed their kids brewing future romance, with Trista saying, “I reached out to Ivana and I was like, ‘I’ve got dibs!’ We’re going to have a planned wedding for Brooks and Blakesley!”
And Andrew chimed in, sharing that the two 13-year-olds have actually already been in touch.
He said, “I didn’t know if I was allowed to blow this up or not, but I think the term is, Brooks slid into the DMs of Blakesley.”
Trista laughed, adding, “And vice versa! Listen, I have to tell you, she’s always like, ‘Hey mom, will you tell Ivana that Brooks left me on read, so he needs to respond.’”

And while Andrew isn’t up to speed on all the terms the kids are saying, he noted, “That’s funny. I don’t know what being left on read means, but it doesn’t sound good!”
Trista explained the meaning and shared more about the conversations she and her daughter have had about Brooks.
The former Bachelorette said, “It basically means that he read the DM but didn’t respond. So she’s like, ‘He left me on read. What does that mean for me?’ I’m always like, ‘Blakes, you’re 13 years old. I think we have some time. Maybe you’ll meet him one day. He’s so handsome!’”

Trista’s co-host and fellow former Bachelor Bob Guiney also chimed in, saying that Brooks and Blakesley are “two beautiful kids” and he’s here for the setup!
Who knows, maybe we’ll have second-generation Bachelor Nation couple one day! How adorable would that be!?
