Tia Booth Shares More Details About Her Pregnancy, Including When She Conceived
Tia Booth is going to be a mom!
The Bachelor Nation star announced earlier this week that she and her fiancé Taylor Mock are expecting their first child together.
Now, Tia is answering her “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” co-hosts’ burning questions about her pregnancy so far.
Joe Amabile started off by asking Tia why her original Instagram pregnancy announcement was taken down after an hour.
Tia said, “I have no idea why my original pregnancy announcement post was taken down. I posted on Father’s Day as a tribute to my dad because it was my first Father’s Day without him. I talked about how welcoming a new life while mourning another one is this cycle of life. The post disappeared after an hour.”
She added, “I had people messaging me asking me why I took it down, but I swear I didn’t. I cried for like three hours. I spent all afternoon typing that out. I finally figured it out and Instagram deleted it. I was really pissed, but I just reposted it the next day. It was only the biggest news of my life and the post disappeared!”

Joe and Natasha Parker asked Tia if she knows when she conceived, and she literally knows the exact moment.
Tia said, “Nine days after we got engaged, I found out I was about four or five weeks pregnant. We technically were pregnant when we got engaged, we just didn’t know. I remember perfectly when we got pregnant. It was March 26 and we were about to go watch the Razorbacks play basketball. It was March Madness. I work with Natural Cycles and Modern Fertility and I remember tracking my Natural Cycles that day, and after I was like, ‘Oh shoot, that was a red day.’ You aren’t supposed to have unprotected sex on a red day, but we did. We were almost in the clear, but that was it!”
Tia joked, “The doctor calculates the beginning of your pregnancy not from the day of conception, but from the day of your last period, which doesn’t make sense to me. And I’m like, ‘No, doc, it was March 26. I know it for sure.”
The Bachelor Nation star also shared why she decided to take a test and the moment she found out she was expecting.
She said, “I felt completely normal; I was just a little late on my period and I’m usually not. I thought maybe it was just stress from wedding planning. Then I had a dream that I was pregnant. Then I had another dream that I found out I lost a baby. And what a mind f*ck. The next day I texted my friend telling her I dreamed I was pregnant and she asked if I was late on my period so she told me to take a test. I took a test and it was positive.”

Tia shared why the news was more overwhelming than exciting at first in the midst of wedding planning.
She said, “I wasn’t as excited at first, I was freaking out. I’m trying to plan the wedding of my dreams. At this point, I was still trying to get married within six months to do it this fall. So I just could not believe it. At this point, I’m 30, we weren’t trying to get pregnant, but we also weren’t trying very hard not to get pregnant. It wasn’t a complete shock, so once I got over the initial stress, I was excited! Once I got over the fact that a wedding was not about to happen, I was excited. That was a bit of a bummer at first.”
But once she confirmed with four pregnancy tests and a blood test, Tia decided to tell her fiancé Taylor, and she couldn’t wait to share the news.
She said, “I knew I wanted to tell Taylor in person and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to wait until he got off work, so I asked him to grab lunch. He was already going with some of his friends, so we went with everyone.”
They had to play it cool in front of Taylor’s friends because they weren’t ready to share the news yet with everyone.
Now, Tia said sharing their pregnancy has come with an outpouring of love and support she couldn’t have imagined.
In particular, she has been grateful to the other women who have reached out about finding out they were pregnant after losing a close loved one, like she did with her dad.
Tia called this a very “full circle” moment and says that if the baby is a boy, she wants to honor her dad by giving the baby his name. Tia and Taylor's baby is due in December and we couldn't be more excited for them!
