Experience Whitefish, Montana Like Sean Lowe on ‘The Bachelor’
Craving an intimate getaway with your significant other but don’t know where to go? Well, look no further than the United States’ very own Whitefish, Montana.
Whitefish is a resort town in the Rocky Mountains of northwest Montana. It’s a gateway to the jagged peaks, lakes, and glacier-carved valleys of Glacier National Park. Visitors can enjoy Whitefish year-round, as the mountains are great for skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer.
And in downtown Whitefish, shops, restaurants, and bars line Central Avenue.
Sean Lowe traveled to Whitefish, Montana, on Season 17 of “The Bachelor.” Here’s how you and your partner can let love flow there, too.
Where to Stay
Sean stayed at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, the perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway. The lodge is nestled between majestic mountains and the pristine waters of Whitefish Lake and the 28-acre Viking Creek Wetland Preserve. There is breathtaking scenery at every turn and no shortage of Montana adventures to experience. And if relaxation and leisure are more your style, their first-class amenities and luxurious spa allow you to get comfortable and just be.
One-on-One Date: Take Your Romance to New Heights
Kick things off in Whitefish, Montana, by taking your love to new heights!
In Whitefish, Sean took Lindsay for a helicopter tour of Glacier National Park. They landed and had a picnic overlooking the entire park. After their adventure, they headed back to the lodge and enjoyed wine by the fireplace and went for a walk in downtown Whitefish.
Group Date: A Day on the Farm!
Take your beloved to the farm and experience Montana like a true local!
Sean invited eight ladies to join him for a day outdoors. No specific location was mentioned. The women walked up and saw a relay race set up, which included goats, canoes, and hay. They split into two teams for a race that included canoeing, bucking hay, sawing a log, and milking a goat. The winning team got to join Sean for a night out in downtown Whitefish where they grabbed drinks at the local bar Casey’s.
Two-on-One Date: Go for a Wild Ride!
And if after your day at the farm, you’re looking for more time with animals, go horseback riding!
Jackie and Tierra met Sean at a horse stable for a day of horseback riding through the Montana wilderness. At the end of their ride, they enjoyed a glamping-style tent and picnic set up for them. After their day on horseback, they went back to the lodge for a romantic dinner by the fire.
