Becca Kufrin Shares Update on New House Renovations with Thomas Jacobs: ‘It’s a Process Getting There’
A work in progress!
As Bachelor Nation fans know, newly engaged lovebirds Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs just bought their first home together in San Diego, California.
Last month, the couple shared photos in front of their house with a “SOLD” sign, and Becca wrote, “Officially co-home owners! Tommy is my new roommate and Minno & Leo are our new tenants. Let’s fill this home with so many laughs, meals, memories, and maybe a couple babies!”
And this week on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, Becca gave an update on how the home renovations have been going.
Her co-host Michelle Young asked for a house update and Becca got candid about the long renovation process.

Becca said, “I don’t even know where to begin. Thomas and I are fresh in this new house. It’s a total demolition mess. The entire house is completely gutted. There is not one room where we aren’t doing work. It’s been a struggle. I don’t know about anyone else out there, I’m very organized and I need to have a space. But I don’t have that right now, so I’m losing my gosh dang mind.”
She went on, adding, “I joke with Thomas, I love him so much but I’m like, ‘I might divorce you before we’re even married.’ This has just been such a crazy time. I’m kidding, though! It’s actually very cool because Thomas is so in his element. He’s so great at building and fixing and working on projects. He has this vision of this house coming together, so it’s been really cool to see the baby steps.”
Becca said she couldn’t be doing this without Thomas and said despite the chaos, she’s really grateful to have him by her side and can’t wait to make the space their own once it’s finished.

She said, “Seeing Thomas getting down and dirty and sweaty has been pretty sexy! I should not complain because he has been so incredible and it’s going to be lovely once it’s finally done and we make the space our own. It’s just a process getting there! That’s why I’m happy to have outlets like this where we can have our girl chat and do the podcast and get away from all that craziness.”
Home renovations are no joke! We can’t wait to see their house once it’s all finished — we know it’s going to be incredible.
