Kendall Long Shocks Bachelor Nation by Eating Termites: ‘Couldn’t Pass Up the Chance!’

Kendall captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation fans during her time on “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise.”
While on “The Bachelor,” Kendall shared her love of taxidermy, and since her time on the show, she’s kept fans up with her love of animals on social media.
The Bachelor Nation star shares everything from interesting bug facts to whether animals are portrayed accurately in movies.
Now, Kendall just took her love of wildlife to a new level by eating termites. Yes, you read that right: She ate termites right out of a termite nest.

Alongside a video of her explaining why she ate the termites, Kendall wrote, “Couldn’t pass up the chance to eat termites while roaming the jungles of Isla Bastimentos, Panama. Thanks to a wonderful group of peeps, I finally got to cross this amazing experience off of my bucket list!”
In the video, Kendall walks fans through the experience.
She said, “We found a termite nest. I have always wanted to try eating termites because they’re so protein rich. In so many places around the world, people eat termites.”
Kendall went on, adding, “A lot of people think that termite nests are bad for trees, like they are killing or eating the tree, but in reality, they are only eating the dead wood that’s in the tree.”
The Bachelor Nation star then cut into the termite nest and let some crawl onto her finger so she could eat them.
She said, “I got a few juicy termites. Let’s see what they taste like!”
