Gabby Windey Makes Her ‘DWTS’ Debut and Scores in the Top 3 for This Week!
Going for the Mirrorball!
Our Bachelorette Gabby Windey hit the “Dancing with the Stars” ballroom floor for the very first time last night!
Gabby and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced the jive for week one and Gabby absolutely slayed her first dance.
In her intro package, Gabby said being part of the show “is honestly a dream come true.”
The Bachelorette also said she’s somewhat familiar with dance, having danced through high school. She was also a Broncos cheerleader for five years.
But despite her dance background, she said, “I’m just nervous I’m gonna bomb it. I just can’t even think about show day or I’ll crumble.”
Thankfully, not only did she not crumble, she dominated!

Gabby and Val delivered a sassy, fun, and extremely impressive jive to “As It Was” by Harry Styles that landed them in the top three for the week.
The duo received a score of 28 out of 40, which had them tied for third place in the week one rankings.
The dance kept Gabby safe through next week’s episode, and she’s going for the Mirrorball Trophy like many of her fellow Bachelorettes, including Kaitlyn Bristowe and Hannah Brown.
Speaking of fellow Bachelorettes, Gabby’s co-Bachelorette Rachel Recchia was in the audience cheering Gabby on.
She also took to Instagram to share a video with Gabby backstage and wrote, “Our dancing queen is about to take the dance floor!! Text GABBY to 21523 to vote!”
