Jill Chin Reveals Her Side of the Love Triangle Drama Involving Romeo & Kira
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Jill Chin on Season 26 of “The Bachelor,” and she’s looking for love again on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Now, she’s stopping by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where she opened up about the infamous “Paradise” love triangle involving herself, Kira, and Romeo.
Jill told co-hosts Joe Amabile, Natasha Parker, and Tia Booth the story of how the three of them met in the first place.
She said, “Kira and I went to New York, and I met Romeo when we were there together. I think they knew each other from Harvard, but I was meeting him for the first time then. Kira and I were good friends at this point. We had traveled together for multiple weeks; we were best friends at that point. She said she had a date with Romeo that day and I was going to hang out with our other friends. We met up with them both afterwards and I didn’t feel like there were flirty vibes with me and him at that time.”

Jill continued on, saying, “Me, Tessa, and Daria from Clayton’s season went out that night, and Kira was already at the club. Romeo and our group of girls were both stuck outside and couldn’t get in. We took Romeo to another bar and adopted him for the night.”
Jill discussed Romeo’s behavior from that night and how he seemed to be trying to get to know all the women.
She said, “He’s in the bar acting like he’s the Bachelor. He’s pulling all of us individually to go chat. It was strange, and I didn’t know what to make of him at all that first day. This man had something going on. His behavior was consistent. We talked the whole night. Kira eventually met back up with us and she asked him point blank who he was feeling more, her or me. He said ‘Jill,’ and I thought there was no way.”
She went on, saying, “I had just met him that day and wasn’t romantically interested in him at that point. I felt bad because they had gone on a date earlier that day. The three of us just became friends and Kira and I decided we didn’t want a guy to get in the middle of our friendship.”

But according to Jill, things took a turn when Kira and Romeo continued to hang out without her.
She shared, “Kira visited Romeo a couple more times in New York. I saw him maybe once. Then I found out they had kissed one night a couple months later and Romeo and I were flirty friends. I could tell there was some sort of attraction there and he told Kira he was interested in me, so I knew that.”
Jill revealed, “They didn’t tell me about the kiss, but I could tell by how they were both talking about the weekend that something had happened. My gut told me that they hooked up, so I asked him if he kissed Kira and he said yeah. The thing about Romeo is he can’t lie. I knew he was being honest with me. I was hurt by it because they didn’t tell me about it, and I just thought that as friends we should all be honest with each other.”
And as fans saw, Kira and Romeo ended up leaving “Paradise” together and Jill was happy to move on with other potential connections.
