Romeo Alexander Reveals His ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Regrets: ‘I Was Uncertain’
Romeo Alexander is opening up.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Romeo on Season 18 of “The Bachelorette,” and he returned for another shot at love on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Drama heated up for Romeo early on as he found himself at the center of a love triangle involving Jill and Kira that started before any of them hit the beach.
Now, Romeo is stopping by the “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where he is revealing if he has any “Paradise” regrets.
Co-hosts Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo asked Romeo if he wishes he would have handled the Kira and Jill situation differently looking back on it.

Romeo said, “I was uncertain. I regret not being more sure and not spending more time thinking about what I really wanted. If I could go back, I would have gone in and told both Kira and Jill that I need more time and I don’t want to rush anything right now. If anything, I felt bad shutting Kira down that quickly. I could have at least had conversations with Kira.”
He went on and explained, “That’s one reason why I was crying when I saw Kira later because I didn’t even give her a chance. This triangle was a tricky thing, and as much as I was proud of myself on day one for saying I wanted to pursue Jill, in retrospect, that was a mistake. I really should have held back a little bit.”
Romeo revealed that his “lack of game” in dating impacted his ability to communicate clearly with the women.

He said, “I agree I don’t have good game. I realize that a big part of having game is knowing how to say no and rejecting people. I was really impressed when I saw that other men turned women down and vice versa. As awkward as it looked, when Hailey was trying to flirt with Logan and said, ‘Maybe we’ll talk later tonight’ and he brushed it off, he didn’t give anything. It felt cruel in that moment, but it ended up being a nicer thing.”
Romeo continued on, saying, “If I were in his position, I would be smiling and laughing like a friend and trying to make the person happy. But before I know it, I’d be in another situation where I was trying to manage something and let someone down. Johnny was another person who was very cool. He knows how to stay cool and be friendly but protects his energy and makes sure he’s not leading anybody on.”
